Fateful Destiny is a mystery game where you spawn in a small square, township as a young farmer. There are a few houses and a handful of townspeople. Something has happened in the town and you must find out what happened by talking to the people and helping solve the mystery.
It takes about fifteen minutes to finish Fateful Destiny. By all appearances, it is a short, narrative-driven adventure game. But there is more to it than that. There is this, for instance: Once you’ve completed it, you are never meant to play it again.
You could play Fateful Destiny again if you wanted to, but its impact will vastly diminish. Some people probably will do a second run to make amends, because they hadn’t taken the game seriously enough the first time round. Or they played it again because they wanted to test its boundaries or get something off their chest.
DEVELOPMENT
Development was started in April 2022, with a first demo being released at the end of May 2022.
The game was entirely written in Unreal Engine 4, initially just as a challenge for Alejandro that eventually grew into an entire game engine that Fateful Destiny used.
A full release is slated for 2022. The game will be released on PC (Windows), as well as Mobiles.
